Setting up an eSIM on your phone
What an eSIM is, which phones support it, and how to activate yours.
An eSIM is a SIM built into your phone, so there is no plastic card to wait for or swap.
Most phones released in the last few years support it. If yours does, you will find eSIM or "Add mobile plan" in your mobile settings.
When we issue your eSIM you will get a QR code. Go to your phone's mobile settings, choose to add a plan, and scan the code. Keep Wi-Fi on while it activates.
Give it a few minutes to register on the network. If you see no signal after ten minutes, restart the phone once.
A few things worth knowing: an eSIM is tied to the phone it is installed on, so if you change phones you need a new eSIM — just ask and we will reissue it. If you are porting a number across, keep your old SIM in place until the port completes.
